I qualified in 2004 from Cairo university, Egypt. In 2007 I started my 3 years of speciality training in Restorative Dentistry with a sub-specialty of Endodontics. I subsequently gained the highly prestigious Membership in Restorative Dentistry in Endodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh.
I kept running my private dental practice in Cairo which I established in 2009, performing advanced endodontic treatments under surgical operating microscope and receiving regional referrals. In 2016 I moved to the United Kingdom to start working as a Clinical Teaching Fellow in Restorative Dentistry, School of Dentistry, University of Leeds. Here I focused on teaching endodontics for the undergraduate and postgraduate students, running the endodontic troubleshooting clinics and treating complicated endodontic cases. In 2018 I was entered onto the GDC Specialist List in Endodontics after the rigorous assessment of my qualifications and experience required for this.
I will be very pleased to accept your referrals for endodontic treatments and re-treatments, and to deal with any of the endodontic mishaps like perforations, broken files and dismantling posts. Every patient will have a thorough assessment before deciding on starting any of the treatments followed by a full explanation of the pros, cons and prognosis of every procedure. The patient will be returned back to you to continue their restorative care accompanied with a postoperative letter explaining the details of the treatment performed. I am always here to help, if you need any assistance please just drop me an e-mail.
